I broke my Apple iPad Mini Bluetooth Antenna Flex Cable now what?

This is located on the lower, right hand side of your device next to the home button. This antenna controls the syncing of other devices and accessories to your iPad Mini. Unlike other iPads, the Mini splits its Bluetooth and WiFi functions between 2 antennas. The WiFi antenna is located on the left side of your device. If your iPad Mini will not connect to a wireless internet signal, you may need to replace both this bluetooth antenna, and your WiFi antenna on the other side of your home button.

I replaced my Apple iPad Mini Bluetooth Antenna Flex Cable, now it will not work!

1. If your device will not connect to a wireless internet signal, you will need to replace your WiFi antenna on the left side of your iPad Mini. These 2 antennas work in tandem, so if one antenna needs to be replaced, odds are the other one does as well.
2. If you cannot get a bluetooth device to sync to your iPad Mini (headset, external speakers, or other device), start with performing a soft reset on your iPad Mini. A soft reset will force your device to recalibrate, and accept this new antenna. If a reset does not work…
3. Reattempt the repair on your device. Check for any signs of damage on your antenna such as nicks in the wire or crimping (excessive folding). Crimping causes cracks in the metal of a part, and cracks will prevent a strong signal from flowing into your device.
