Broken Arrow Iphone repair Hi this is Tim with the doctors to them when I show you how to do a Motorola tricks HD digitizer replacement before we get started I’ll show you the tools you’ll need to successfully fix your device. Virtual need the touch screen.
A metal Philippic. Plastic flat pick. And a T5 screwdriver.
Before we get started we’ll take a SIM card tray which is located to left to the left of the device. Pickup like so. And just push down on your SIM card and it pops out. Have a memory card you’ll pop that out as well. In this device we do not have one. Once that’s out ready to take off the back plates. This back play is actually there’s three him and he’s of. All underneath here touching the battery to him be very very cautious when you pull this up not to pull the battery up as well with it. You break the battery. The batteries are very very difficult to find. But it comes apart like so. And this one came apart really easy. But as you can see here 3M and he’s right here.
You should make sure when you pull it up to get enough. Pressure with their pick. Not for the better not to be pulled up.
So now we’ve got many screws to come outs. That are all on the edge here. And then of course the battery terminal screws which will take out later. In case and now they have all your screws going all the way around the end.

Part comes off like so.
It’s a little red grommet will come off or take out the battery. And all the screws on this device all the time. All done by the T5. So it is one screw driver will work this entire device which is really nice.
So now I got the battery loose. Comes out like so.
Now the next up. This is this frame this metal frame we’re here to hold the board down and take those out which is held down by screws here on the side. Start taken out. Get the screws off. Now
this frame missing one. Now the frame will come out like so it’s off to the side.
Now we’re ready to unplug our LCD digitizer. The digitizer plug in or here. And here’s your real city employee that as well. Those are off the side.
Now we’re in pull the board up.
Here. Plastic pick underneath here and you’re going to kind of lift up. On the circuit board. It’s the circuit board is a little bit and heat to the back of the LCD. So you just want to get your.
Thinking there and kind of start separating. Like so. Here it’s called cork and there’s a circuit board stick stuff still attached. Side. This long flex cable or here is your digitizer. Pull that up like so.
And we’ll pull the LCD out as well. Get this out of the way for the time being. Comes out like so. Now we’re ready to take the digitizer off the frame and apply the new one on.

And since this is an all touchscreen phone there is no buttons there’s no flex cables you have to worry about. That’s loose. And this fall a flex cable through this little hole.
And now the screen is off.
Now that we’ve got the whole all the 3M and he’s. Taken off the off the frame or imply a new in he’s of which will come with your your screen and it’s basically going to.
Cut slivers off and play it. On a new frame. This will allow your screen to stay in place.
Right now. He’s lived.

Cable. Put the little slot on the. Frame and we get through. And set the screen down just like you did the top portion of the screen.
We’re going to do the same thing with the bottom portion. We.

A portion just touches the bottom. Like so. So now we’re ready to. Reassemble.
You have a towel or a rag you can take it take take a towel or a rag and you can. Clean off your city. Make sure you know does fingerprints. On it. As well as the back end of your digitizer.

On the back of the digitizer the flex cable has a few strips here is old blue strips you can pull off and that’s what this is going to do is it’s hold the Fox cable in place.
There it is. A circuit board. Way back into place.
It’s got a few clips just. Lay back down there while you’re. Digitizer and your LCD back in.
The metal frame down. And I will. Put her sylvestris back in.
